Typically, a reverse osmosis system requires pretreatment – water softener, carbon filter and possibly some post treatment – polishing ion exchange resin bed. The configuration of the RO and the pre- and post-treatment will vary and depends on the end use of the RO-treated water. All necessary pre- and post-filtration equipment for your application is designed by Nalco PTS engineers and assembled at our factory. It is then incorporated into the RO system package to ensure complete functionality and efficiency of the RO system.
The ideal applications for RO water filtration equipment include:
- Manufacturing
- Laboratory
- Electronics
- Pharmaceutical/biotech
- Automotive
- Textile
- Hotels, resorts, schools
- Food processing
- Beverage/bottling
- Chemical blending/manufacturing
- Mining
- Boiler feed water
- Ion exchange pre-treatment
- Beverage production
- Spot free product rinse
