Ultra Pure Water Treatment

In many industries, applications and processes ultra pure water treatment is required.Res-Kem offers a series of pre-assembled systems for the production of a continuous supply of high purity deionized water.These pre-packaged ultra high purity water systems synchronize the operation of several water purification processes within one skid mounted assembly.

Res-Kem’s high purity systems incorporate regenerable deionization (DI) exchange bottles that are available for flows of 2 - 5 gpm and 6 - 12 gpm using 1.2 cubic foot and 3.6 cubic foot exchange tanks respectively. Higher flow systems are also available using moltiple 3.6 cubic foot tanks, 23 cubic foot or 30 cubic foot skid mounted exchange tanks.Additional customization can be implemented by using different pumps, bottle sizes, line sizes, and UV lamps.

Generally, Res-Kem’s ultra pure water treatment equipment uses the processes of deionization (DI), Reverse Osmosis (RO) and ultraviolet (UV) sterilization.

Degasification and Decarbonation

Some industrial applications and processes require ultra pure water with extremely low levels of dissolved gases and other contaminants. Degasification / decarbonation increases the life of the process equipment by preventing or controlling corrosion. These contaminants include:

2. Carbon dioxide or carbonic acid

Terminology:
