HarmscoŽ Up-Flow Cartridge Filter and Filter Housings
HIF Series HarmscoŽ Up-Flow Cartridge Filters were patented and introduced to the market in 1968. Almost immediately, people in the filtration industry took note of the many advantages HarmscoŽ Filters provide. The patented Industrial Up-Flow Filter incorporates cluster filters enabling the user to remove the entire set of filter cartridges at one time for cleaning or replacement. HarmscoŽ high-capacity cartridge filters have lifting rods to remove a single stack of cartridges at one time.
Ranging in sizes up to 800 gpm, the HarmscoŽ Up-flow Cartridge Filters features:
304 stainless steel construction, 316 optional
Electro-polished for increased resistance to corrosion
Extensive choice of cartridge micron ratings and media including carbon

HarmscoŽ HurricaneŽ Combination Cyclone Separator and Cartridge Filter
HurricaneŽ Combination cartridge filters are ideal for high solids when a single jumbo cartridge is desired. It is rated for temperatures to 140° F (60°C) and with an optional stainless steel standpipe for temperatures up to 250°F (121°C). It is pressure tested to 150 psi.
Cartridges for the HarmscoŽ HurricaneŽ cartridge filter are available in varying micron ratings as low as 0.35. The filter cartridges are cleanable and reusable in most applications.
Activated carbon cartridges for HurricaneŽ filter housing for taste, odor and chlorine removal are available upon request. The activated carbon filter cartridge has an outer wrap of pleated, five micron Polyester-PlusŽ filter media that protects the carbon by removing sediment thus extending filter life.

The HarmscoŽ HurricaneŽ Swing Bolt housing is available in four sizes, up to 840 gpm, with an extensive choice of micron ratings and media.
