Res-Kem has the following openings:
Field Service Technician
Perform service, diagnosis, basic maintenance and repairs to water treatment equipment at customer sites.
Installs, troubleshoots and services water treatment equipment including commercial and industrial water softeners, water filters, reverse osmosis, deionizers, etc.
Works with PLC type controls, understands water treatment design.
Starts up and commissions of new equipment.
Conducts preventative maintenance of water treatment systems including high-purity loops. Sanitization of same.
Maintains and takes full financial responsibility for spare parts stock and work tools.
Acts as an RKC customer representative and communicates in an articulate manner with customers.
Completes service paperwork in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion.
Maintains safe work areas.
Works in other areas of operations as necessary.
Skills: Follows instructions, performs work accurately and safely.Technically competent, Good oral and written skills, Good customer service attitude
Education and Training: Technical Training / Education preferred; Strong Communication skills (written & oral); Customer Focus and Customer Satisfaction driven; Team Player; Self Starter
Experience/Qualifications: High School Grad or GED; Technical Education; 3 years training specific to water treatment equipment or related work area - waste water, municipal water; Must be physically fit.

Senior Engineer
Lead engineer responsible for all engineered systems from proposal stage to project management of equipment orders. Assigning jobs to junior engineer or co-op and review and evaluation of same. Liason between sales and assembly department on projects. Develop and evaluate new products from an engineering and cost analysis standpoint to meet Res-Kem's expanding productline.
Lead engineer responsible for CAD system and drawings
Project management for engineered systems
Build bill of materials for proposals & equipment using Excel and/or SYSPRO.
Direct junior equipment engineer and assign jobs and maintain performance evaluations
Maintain standard equipment BOM and update to include Res-Kem inventory numbers
Work with shop assembly and plant manager on engineered equipment
Continue to incorporate PLC's into Res-Kem equipment
Periodic field startup of equipment and/or assistance
Pre-Proposal site visits for equipment upgrade and/or new systems
Skills: AutoCAD, Excel spreadsheets, SYSPRO. Mechanical and electronic/electrical ability
Education and training: BS mechanical engineering or industrial engineering. PLC programming
Experience: Minimum 5 years engineering in water treatment equipment
